To support the demanding environmental conditions of a desalination plant in the UAE, IMMERSION ENERGY has supplied customized Air Handling Units  designed to provide reliable air treatment and cooling for the facility. With an 80 kW cooling capacity and a water-based cooling source, the AHUs are engineered to maintain stable indoor environmental conditions and support the continuous operation of critical desalination processes.

Project Features

The AHUs are designed with an 80 kW cooling capacity and a supply air volume of 3,910 m³/h, providing stable cooling and air circulation for the desalination facility. The water-based cooling system enables efficient heat transfer while allowing the unit to integrate with the plant's existing chilled-water infrastructure.

For air filtration, the units adopt a G4 + H8 filter configuration to provide multi-stage air treatment and reduce airborne dust and particulate matter entering the conditioned space. This configuration is particularly valuable for industrial facilities operating in challenging environments such as the UAE, where high temperatures and dust can place additional demands on HVAC systems.

The control system is equipped with Siemens controls, providing reliable monitoring and operational management. Combined with a project-specific configuration, the AHUs offer a practical solution for maintaining stable environmental conditions throughout continuous industrial operation.
