Project Overview
As a customer operating in Ecuador’s telecommunications and digital infrastructure sector, the client required a compact and reliable data center solution to support critical IT and communication equipment. Considering the growing demand for digital infrastructure in Ecuador and the need for flexible deployment in different environments, IMMERSION ENERGY provided a customized Container Data Center integrating power, cooling, IT racks, monitoring, and security systems.
The containerized solution is designed to provide a complete data center environment within a limited footprint. Its modular structure, redundant power and cooling configuration, and enhanced environmental protection make it suitable for customers seeking reliable infrastructure with simplified deployment and operation.

Project Features
The project integrates IT racks, power supply, cooling, monitoring, and security systems into one compact enclosure, reducing the complexity of traditional data center construction. The solution accommodates six IT racks while making efficient use of limited installation space.
The 2N power redundancy architecture and 30 kVA modular UPS with lithium batteries provide reliable backup power for critical equipment. Meanwhile, the N+1 precision cooling configuration provides cooling redundancy and helps maintain stable operating conditions.
Cold aisle containment is also incorporated to improve airflow management and reduce unnecessary cooling energy consumption. In addition, IP55 protection, 60-minute fire resistance, and C5M anti-corrosion treatment enhance the container’s ability to withstand challenging environmental conditions.
Project Significance
Ecuador and other Latin American markets are experiencing continued growth in telecommunications, digital services, and IT infrastructure, creating increasing demand for flexible and rapidly deployable data center solutions. Compared with conventional data center construction, a containerized solution can reduce installation complexity while providing an integrated infrastructure environment.
Through this project, IMMERSION ENERGY provided the customer with a customized solution that combines power, cooling, IT space, and security within a standardized 20FT container. The modular design allows the system to adapt to different deployment scenarios and provides a practical solution for telecommunications, edge computing, enterprise IT, and other critical digital infrastructure applications.
