IMMERSION ENERGY Supplies Modular Data Centers for South Korean Data Center Project

Sep 24, 2026

Project Overview

Efficient space planning and well-organized infrastructure are important considerations when deploying data center facilities, particularly in environments where power distribution, network connectivity, and equipment access need to be carefully coordinated. As data center infrastructure becomes increasingly complex, the ability to arrange equipment, power systems, and communication networks within a clearly defined layout can contribute to more efficient installation, operation, and maintenance. Modular construction also provides a practical approach for projects that require structured deployment, flexible configuration, and effective use of available space.

For a data center project in South Korea, IMMERSION ENERGY supplied multiple modular data centers featuring a double-row enclosed system, providing a structured and scalable infrastructure solution for the project. Designed with an enclosed configuration and integrated cable management, the modular data centers help organize critical infrastructure while making effective use of the available space. The overall configuration is intended to provide a clearly defined equipment environment while supporting convenient access for installation, inspection, and ongoing maintenance.

Project Information

Country: South Korea

Application: Data Center

Product: Modular Data Centers

Configuration: Double-row enclosed system

Standard: Tier/Rating III

Structure: Aluminum or other metal materials

Cable Management: Overhead power and data cable trays

Project Features

The supplied modular data centers adopt a double-row enclosed system designed in accordance with Tier/Rating III requirements. The enclosed structure is manufactured using aluminum or other suitable metal materials, providing a robust configuration for integrating data center equipment and supporting infrastructure.

To improve infrastructure organization, power and data cable trays are installed above the enclosed system. This overhead arrangement provides dedicated pathways for cable routing and management, helping keep power and data connections organized while reducing unnecessary use of floor space. It also provides more accessible routing for installation, inspection, and future maintenance.

The modular configuration allows the data center infrastructure to be arranged in a structured manner while supporting practical deployment and maintenance requirements. By combining the enclosed system with overhead cable management, the solution provides a clear separation between equipment areas and cable routing spaces.

Project Significance

For the South Korean data center project, the deployment of multiple modular data centers provides an organized infrastructure framework for integrating computing equipment, power systems, and network connections. The double-row enclosed configuration helps create a defined equipment environment, while the overhead cable trays contribute to more efficient use of the available space.

The combination of modular construction, Tier/Rating III-oriented design, and dedicated overhead cable management provides flexibility for data center deployment while supporting convenient operation and maintenance. Through this project, IMMERSION ENERGY delivers a modular infrastructure approach tailored to the practical requirements of modern data center environments.
