As data center infrastructure in India continues to expand to support cloud computing, AI workloads, and other high-density applications, efficient liquid cooling has become increasingly important for managing rising heat loads. IMMERSION ENERGY supplied multiple 800kW liquid-to-liquid cabinet-type CDUs for a data center construction project in India, providing dedicated cooling distribution capacity for high-density computing infrastructure. The cabinet-type design integrates the cooling distribution system into a compact and service-friendly configuration, offering a practical solution for deploying liquid cooling across modern data center environments.
Country: India
Application: Data Center
Product: Liquid-to-Liquid Cabinet-Type CDU
Cooling Capacity: 800kW
Quantity: Multiple units

The supplied 800kW liquid-to-liquid CDUs are designed to transfer heat efficiently between the facility cooling loop and the secondary liquid cooling loop serving high-density IT equipment. By separating the two cooling circuits, the CDU helps provide controlled coolant conditions for liquid-cooled servers while supporting stable heat removal from high-power computing equipment.
The cabinet-type configuration allows the CDUs to be integrated into the data center cooling infrastructure with an organized footprint and convenient access for operation and maintenance. With multiple units deployed for the project, the cooling system can support the data center’s expanding liquid-cooling requirements and provide a scalable approach for high-density computing applications.
The deployment of multiple high-capacity CDUs provides the Indian data center with dedicated liquid cooling distribution for high-density computing infrastructure. As rack power densities continue to increase, liquid-to-liquid CDUs offer an effective way to transfer large amounts of heat while maintaining separation between different cooling circuits.
This project demonstrates the growing application of liquid cooling technology in Indian data centers, particularly where higher computing densities require cooling solutions beyond conventional air-based systems. The 800kW cabinet-type CDUs provide the capacity and configuration needed to support large-scale liquid-cooled data center deployments.
