The CDU adopts a liquid-to-liquid heat exchange configuration, with the IT-side cooling loop separated from the facility-side cooling loop. Heat generated by the IT equipment is transferred through the CDU to the facility cooling loop, allowing the two circuits to operate independently while maintaining efficient heat transfer.
The cabinet-type design integrates the main coolant distribution, heat exchange, and control components into a single unit. This integrated configuration provides a centralized connection between the IT-side liquid cooling system and the facility cooling infrastructure, while also simplifying equipment installation and system integration.
